Climate Startup Mentorship

I joined my first startup in 2013. In 2015 I joined my second, and in 2016, I co-founded my first, in San Francisco, where I worked with dozens of other startups in typical Bay Area innovation fashion, including designing startup accelerators an participating in hackathons.

In 2019, I joined my fourth startup, a regenerative hemp company.

In 2020-2021, I was an official mentor for ScaleForClimatetech, a New York State-funded climatetech startup accelerator, and Bethesda Green, a Maryland/DC/Virginia-based sustainability startup accelerator. I worked with two companies: one commercializing green hydrogen tech developed at Oak Ridge National Lab, and one in reusable restaurant takeout containers based in the Washington DC area.

I am well-versed in the unique potentialities within the startup container, even as an intrapreneur approach, starting a company within a larger corporation. I dig the energy and idealism of startups, but not the hype. If you seek advising or a straight-forward third party perspective, I might be able to help you.
